Seeking to deepen the track’s emotional texture, Michellar partnered with Lloyd Miller of Spirit Song Studios in Austin, Texas. Their collaboration transformed the simple acoustic foundation into a lush, Latin-tinged arrangement without losing the song’s raw intimacy. Recorded at San Francisco’s Women’s Audio Mission, the production adds subtle layers of percussion, melodic basslines, and organic guitar work, all of which cradle Michellar’s evocative vocals with tender restraint.
