Hailing from the United States, New England is The All’s Eye, a powerhouse trio featuring Kris Yunker on Hammond Organ, Piano, and Clavinet; Ben Atkind (of GOOSE and Elephant Proof) on drums; and Ari Joshua on electric & acoustic guitars and vocals. Their latest studio release, “Say What You Wanna Say,” breathes vibrant new life into Joshua’s original boogaloo-inspired instrumental, this time layering in vocals and a tighter, psych-tinged arrangement that highlights each player’s voice with dazzling clarity. Tracked at the legendary Carriage House Studios, “Say What You Wanna Say” radiates analog warmth and sonic texture. With Mclee Mathais at the engineering helm, the track was captured with a careful ear for dynamics and groove, allowing the trio’s soulful chemistry to take center stage. Jakael Tristram’s mix masterfully balances the fuzz and the funk, giving room for Yunker’s keyboards to swirl, Atkind’s drums to punch, and Joshua’s guitar to sing with horn-like fervor.

Joe Lambert’s mastering puts the final shine on this rich sonic tapestry, tying it all together with depth and power. Ari Joshua’s vocals bring an emotive core to this version, adding a new dimension to a track that already had soul in spades. The interplay between tight rhythms and improvisational spark gives the song a genre-fluid identity—equal parts psych-rock, groove-jazz, and retro-funk. Yunker’s keyboard work remains magnetic throughout, while Atkind delivers drumming that’s both tasteful and commanding. It’s a natural evolution from the instrumental version released on the Saturday Sessions EP and shows the trio’s growing confidence in studio storytelling. “Say What You Wanna Say” also complements previously released tracks like “The Simian” and “West Hill Road,” deepening the group’s all-encompassing sonic journey.

The All’s Eye will be on tour in the Pacific Northwest from June 25th to July 2nd, with stops in Portland, Bellingham, Olympia, Tacoma, Shelton, and Seattle—an ideal chance to witness this band’s kinetic energy in its natural habitat. Meanwhile, Music Factory Records is gearing up to release a full-length vinyl LP by Peter Daniel, featuring an all-star lineup including Marina Albero, Joe Doria, Andy Coe, RL Heyer, Marina Christopher, Jason Gray, Xavier D. Lecouturier, Ehssan Karimi, Heather Thomas, Cliff Porter Jr., and Grant Schroff. Pre-orders are now live at musicfactoryrecords.com. And don’t miss Blurry Face, a collaboration between Ari Joshua, John Medeski, and Billy Martin, out now. A new single from that project—“Reversible Submersible” featuring bassist Jason Fraticelli—drops May 23rd.
