Hailing from Berlin, Soul Logic is an evocative five-track EP from electronic producer Fleanger, joined by rising collaborator NIRØ and the soul-stirring voice of Romy Dya. Released via MIR MUSIC on March 14, 2025, this project is far more than a collection of tracks—it’s an immersive exploration of emotional tension, guided by hypnotic grooves and deeply cinematic storytelling. At the core of the EP lies the original version of Soul Logic, a track that instantly establishes its own atmosphere: moody yet warm, intimate yet expansive. A slow-burning pulse drives the piece, blending immersive percussive textures with drifting synths and basslines that carry emotional weight. Romy Dya’s vocal performance is a standout—haunting and vulnerable, her delivery captures the paradoxical pull between head and heart, a theme that serves as the emotional spine of the entire project.

Fleanger and NIRØ show a masterful command of contrast throughout: the interplay between melancholy and light, stillness and motion, digital precision and raw emotion. You can hear the fingerprints of their inspirations—RY X and Monolink in the organic-meets-electronic textures, Black Coffee and &ME in the percussive sophistication, and Tale of Us in the sweeping, cinematic builds that evolve with narrative intensity. It’s a sound that doesn’t just nod to these influences but internalizes them to forge something uniquely Fleanger’s. The EP’s four remixes offer fresh perspectives without losing the heart of the original. Each one dives deeper into a different facet of the track—whether it’s amplifying the groove, stretching the atmosphere, or isolating Romy Dya’s vocal to new emotional effect.

These versions don’t feel like filler—they’re reinterpretations that extend the story, each remix unlocking a new door within the same emotional landscape. What makes Soul Logic especially resonant is its emotional clarity. It’s a project that speaks directly to those who have felt the quiet war between logic and love, who’ve stood at the edge of reason and chosen to leap. It’s subtle yet immersive, introspective yet universal. In a world saturated with dancefloor bangers, Soul Logic stands out as a rare kind of electronic release—one that doesn’t just make you move, but makes you feel. Fleanger has crafted something deeply personal and sonically rich, a project that lingers long after the last note fades. Soul Logic is not just heard—it’s experienced.
