Emerging from Prince George's County to Nigerian Immigrants, Seyi was born enamored by music, teaching himself guitar and drums at an early age. Not long after, he picked up the keyboard and taught himself how to produce music. His career truly began after moving to Stanford, CA to pursue a B.S. degree in computer science and start the
creative collective SupaStas Entertainment. Shortly after. Seyi made his first appearance at Kitsuné Musique with the track "Evergreen".
After the release of several singles via Kitsuné Musique and a wondeful Remixes EP, Lil Seyi has worked hard to come back with a project that lives up to his artistic ambitions. "A Blue Tesla Story" is more than just a 4 tracks EP. It's a whole story, which must be listened to in its entirety, composed and performed by a young man decided to take his responsibilities as an artist.

Seyi, who has always been fascinated by Hip-Hop, offers an EP that combines the classic codes of the genre with his personal influences. Thus, we can find a strong political message, as groups like N.W.A or Public Enemy could do before Kendrick Lamar assumed the role. The diversity and originality of his compositions remind us of Kanye West's achievements, while the structure of the project and the way of linking the tracks remind us of Frank Ocean's creations.
Yet AC PRESS is the another latest song from this superb talent on June 1, 2022 and it’s a burner. True to its cover art, you got to know the press from the AC. Real love and real music last forever! This song is a combination of both making it a necessity to the music world. Great power and control are all there! You have a lovely tone to your voice and had great control throughout. Dance pulses through the opening with a movement that is the perfect balance of dance and hop. There is something smooth to the pulse that enhances the movement that makes you want to bop to it. It is almost impossible to not bounce as you hear the melody. The initial pulse of tones continues into the body of the track, gaining a shimmering upper layer. While you aren’t going to dance like crazy to this track, the dance vibes in the low levels easily have you moving around to the sound.
